PROCESSING POWER (day 1)!

Objective(s):
This week you will learn to:
1. Understand how a computer digitizes information.
2. Understand how a computer processes information.
3. Understand how a computer uses RAM in processing information.
3. Understand how a computer's speed is measured.

Warm Up:
1. How does a computer work? What are the 3 steps?It works by input,output,and the processor
2. Name two input devices besides a mouse and a keyboard. (Hint: Check the powerpoint that was due on Monday)A trackball and a what romo pad.
3. Name two output devices besides a screen (monitor) or speakers. (Hint: Check the powerpoint that was due on Monday)apple incertama and a smatboard.
4. When a computer is PROCESSING, what is it doing? it is calculating.

Processors Comparison Activity:
Create a 7 x 4 Table on MS WORD
Title the headings: COMPUTER NAME, PICTURE, PROCESSOR, RAM
Find 6 Computers from any of the following websites:

For each computer (and on each row), Copy and paste the Computer Name, a Picture, The Processor and RAM.

- SAVE AS "PROCESSINGPOWER"
