Warm Up:
1. Do a web search on the medal count at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. Which 3 countries are leading in the medal count?
Its United States 1st place Germany 2nd place and Norway 3rd place
2. How many of each medal does each country have? (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
USA has 10 bronze, 9 silver and 7 gold. Germany has 7 bronze, 9 silver and 7 gold. Norway has 6 bronze 5 silver and 6 gold.
3. Do a search on the Olympic Sport called "Curling." Read about it and describe the object of the game.
The object of the game is to slide the stone to the target and see who is the closest.
4. In curling, what is the name of the thing that they slide on the ice? It is a stone.

Warm Up:
This weekend I spent my Friday at the Radison Hotel near LAX at a teacher's meeting. On Saturday, my sister and I drove up to Delano, California to surprise my mom for Valentine's day. We took her out to see the movie "From Paris With Love" and out to dinner at Olive Garden. On Sunday, my roommates and I all went out to a restaurant called "Villa Sorriso" in Pasadena for a Valentine's day dinner. On Monday, we took our dog Jack for a long walk at Venice beach.

What did you do this weekend?
What i did this weekend was that i went to a party on saturday and had lots of fun with my friends. On Sunday i was very tired so i just stayed in my house and rest. On monday i had a basketball game and so i went and we won. Than i spent time at my cousins house. For the rest of the day i hanged out with some of my friends and then went home and went to sleep.

I think it is shaped this way because it is easier to carry them ands pass them out.
